Spooky Stuff to Do: The Stranger Things Experience

One of my favorite shows has got to be Stranger Things. When I was 10 years old, I watched the show with my Grandma at her house. I liked that the show had a unique premise and fun characters all set in the 80s.

I quickly binge watched the first three seasons before the fourth one came out so that me and my Grandma could watch the new season together. When I learned about the Stranger Things Experience coming to Seattle, I knew I had to go.

The Stranger Things Experience toured for around a year in places like San Fransico, New York, and Seattle and expanded upon the world of Stranger Things with an immersive storyline experience.

We started inside the Hawkins Laboratory and then had to escape from demogorgons. At the end of the experience, we wore 3D glasses and battled Vecna. At the end of the experience was a small mini mall with Scoops Ahoy (the ice cream shop from the show), Surfer Boy Pizza, a retro arcade game, places to take pictures, and lots of merch.

Overall, the experience made me shiver, but not too badly. There were a few good jump scares. I think kids eight and up who are into spooky things would most likely be able to handle it. Even though the experience has now ended, I highly recommend it if it comes back!

The Stranger Things Experience is definitely something I will remember for a while. I’d love to hear from you. Is there a scary experience you remember enjoying, like a haunted house or a ghost town? Let me know your favorite spooky experiences, and always remember to keep on shivering.

Hi Vasili, I agree that Salem is horrifying, I went there 2 years ago and it was very creepy. What did you find spooky about it?

Hi Stephen, if you're a fan of Stranger Things you'll love this, and from some leaks I've heard the tour will probably happen again after Stranger Things Season 5 and if that happens I highly recommend you go to it, it's fun just in general but is also a dream for Stranger Things fans. I hope you get to check it out!
