“This place is so creepy, it’s making me shiver.” That’s a quote from my book You Have Monsieur Monster for 3rd. You may be wondering when you can purchase one of my books. Today, I’ll let you know what stage of development my books are in.
You Have Monsieur Monster for 3rd is my first book, which I wrote two years ago in 2022. I gave out around 10 physical copies of the book and emailed PDFs. After I received feedback from friends, I edited it more in-depth.
Because Monsieur Monster has French in it, I need to have the French in my book looked over to ensure everything is being said correctly. I will most likely self-publish the book on Amazon this spring!
As for my other books; These Boots Are Made For Killing, is currently in the first round of editing. Once I finish this book I will have some of my friends read it and give me feedback before revising for publication.
I start all of my books with a very detailed outline. This was recommended to me by R.L. Stine’s Masterclass. I have completed my outline for Nightmare on Elf Street. I plan to begin writing after I have published my first two books. Nightmare on Elf Street is by far my favorite book yet.
The Revolving Door To Nowhere is still in the concept phase. I have not yet outlined this book, but I have a few ideas for it and will start outlining once I finish These Boots Are Made For Killing and Nightmare on Elf Street.
If you want a summary of all of these books, check out the books page on my website at Books | Opaandrews. I’d love to know which one of my books you are the most excited to read! Please let me know in the comments.
And as always, keep on shivering!
"Nightmare on Elf Street" is an AWESOME title!!! 😂 If I saw it at a kids bookstore, I would definitely pick it up. It's interesting to know what a great title can do for sales. Stoked to check out and eventually read some of your published work. Best, Erick (bedlameye.wordpress.com)
Just the title alone, "Nightmare on Elf Street," was all I needed to hear -- can't wait to read it!
This is awesome, congrats on self publishing! It's incredibly empowering to take your own stories and put them out there on your own. Outlining is so crucial and it's also so time consuming, so that's a really good instinct to have. Excited to read more about "Nightmare on Elf Street."
Hi Opa! I'm looking forward to reading them all, but especially Nightmare on Elf Street!
